Piano in Tow
Starting this fall, Nicole (or Dr. NAN, as she is known to her students) will take her Yamaha C-7 grand piano into traditionally underserved communities of rural Nebraska. Supported by a $10,000 grant from the Layman Fund through the University of Nebraska, Piano in Tow will feature performances, master classes, and radio broadcasts from the Nebraska heartland.
Piano in Tow is a crazy idea I had to do what I love doing best – playing the piano – and take it on the road to the underserved areas of my adopted state of Nebraska. These pages are a chronicle of that journey, which right now is gestating in my homebase in Lincoln.
